Volunteers must be 18 years or older, but some shifts require 21+.

Tiki Kon wouldn't be possible without the generosity and dedication of our volunteers. It's a fun way to see Tiki Kon from a new angle and make new friends.
Most shifts are around 4 hours long. Volunteers can earn event admission, discounts on merchandise, and invitations to the big post-event cast party, depending on number of hours contributed.
Weekend pass holders
If you want to purchase a weekend pass and volunteer, THANK YOU!
If you end up working 10 or more hours and already have a weekend pass, we'll refund you the equivalent of a Standard pass after Tiki Kon. That's a $125 value!
Merchandise discounts
All volunteers who work 4 or more hours receive a 25% discount on merchandise at the Tiki Kon Gift Shop, July 1-2. Just flash your volunteer badge at the gift shop for your discount.
If you'd like to pre-order your merch and make sure you get it before it sells out, buy your items at full price when they go on sale June 1st, and then request a refund for the discounted amount after Tiki Kon.
Volunteers who contribute 18+ hours will receive a 50% discount on any remaining merchandise after Tiki Kon, sold in person at the cast party.
Training
Most volunteer jobs are easy. Some require a little bit of training on our guest check-in (Eventbrite) and e-commerce (Square) systems. Orientation and training will be provided at the start of your first shift, and a Tiki Kon coordinator will be on hand to make sure you're comfortable with the responsibilities of your job.
